PORTLAND, Maine, Feb. 1, 2008--Jeep_® World of Adventure Sports_® (JWOAS), an action and adventure sports series, will air on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.  Host Pat Parnell of NBC Sports travels to the Jeep_® Union Square Street Sessions in New York City to present the second episode of the 2008 season. 

NBC will also rebroadcast the Shared Summits K2 special on Feb. 17 at 2:30 p.m. The episode originally aired on the Jeep_® World of Adventure Sports_® on Dec.16, 2007.

The next episode will feature:

·          The Jeep_® Union Square Street Sessions: Snow is king amid the skyscrapers of Manhattan as 2007 champion Eddie Wall returns to defend his title against a field of 20 world class competitors to vie for a $30,000 purse at the largest urban rail jam in the country.

·          The Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge: Watch as competitors race via sea kayak, camel, ropes and foot across the breathtaking landscape of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.  Separated by seconds, the race remains intense through the last as exhausted participants dash to the amazing finish at the Al Jahili Fort.

·          Lindsey Vonn Profile: JWOAS catches up with one of the few world-class, four-event ski racers, two-time Olympian Lindsey Vonn.  On skis since the age of two, we follow along with this remarkable athlete who serves as a role model for many young skiers with big dreams.

·          Teton Gravity Research: Epic backcountry skiers and riders Jeremy Jones, Seth Morrison, and Eric Roner head to British Columbia to ride some of the most extensive, diverse, and endless terrain in the world.
