NBC JEEP® WORLD OF ADVENTURE SPORTS AIRS IN HIGH-DEFINITION
JWOAS HD to Broadcast on High-Def Cable Network, Universal HD
PORTLAND, Maine, May 1, 2006 NBC's Jeep® World of Adventure Sports (JWOAS), an action and adventure sports series, will begin broadcasting its programming in high-definition this season. The new sports series, JWOAS HD will premiere on Universal HD, an NBC Universal Cable network, on Friday, May 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Hosted by Pat Parnell of NBC Sports, JWOAS HD features an array of outstanding action and adventure sports events and athlete profiles. The unique sports segments featured on the show are an ideal fit for high-tech programming. Shot in native 1080i HD, the show will continue to feature behind-the-scenes moments in the world of action-adventure sports.
