Mountain Biker - Nathan Rennie: Witness World Champion Nathan
Rennie attempt a world record 150-foot mountain bike jump in the Australian
Outback. This dangerous stunt will take place on the unusual rock formations
of the isolated Painted Desert. Rennie will be whipped into a custom-made
ramp by a motorbike at speeds in excess of 50 mph as he attempts to break
the biggest mountain biking record of all time.
Amstel Light North American Freeskiing Championships: The world’s best big mountain freeskiers assemble at California’s infamous Kirkwood Mountain Resort for the final stop of the Freeskiing World Tour. Over 100 competitors pit themselves against the mountain and each other, navigating the most difficult terrain, jumping huge cliffs, descending steep slopes, and threading tight chutes. In its 8th year, the 2005 Championships proved to be one of the fiercest competitions in the history of competitive freeskiing.
